Community Guidelines

Asia Love is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections in an environment of mutual respect and trust. Our platform brings together people from diverse backgrounds who share one common goal: finding genuine connections and relationships. These guidelines exist to ensure everyone can pursue that goal while feeling secure and respected.

We take our community standards seriously. Violations of these guidelines may result in account restrictions or permanent removal from our platform. Our moderation team and automated algorithms work around the clock to maintain these standards, but we also rely on our community members to help maintain the quality of interactions by reporting inappropriate behavior.

Your Digital Identity

Your profile is your first impression on our platform. We require all members to present themselves honestly and clearly. If choosing to show photos of yourself, we recommend using recent photos that clearly show your face, or yourself performing an action. Using another person's photo (even if the face isn't shown), using fake photos (such as AI generated photos), or misrepresenting your age or identity not only violates our guidelines but also undermines the trust that makes meaningful connections possible.

Photos should reflect who you are today. We understand the desire to put your best foot forward, but using heavily filtered images of yourself or photos that don't accurately represent your current appearance may lead to picture removal, or possibly account removal if deemed warranted.

For your profile bio, your location should represent your current location, or your place of usual residence if travelling. "Location surfing" or putting your location as somewhere you do not reside nor frequently visit is not permitted. The reason for this stems back to our requirement of members to present themselves authentically - no one wants to match with someone thinking that they're located somewhere that they're not.

Profile Picture Requirements

• If a photo or picture depicting someone is used, it must be of you, and not heavily edited
• No explicit or suggestive content
• No photos or illustrations featuring minors, including your own children, regardless of whether you appear with them
• No contact information or navigable media (eg: website links, usernames, QR codes, etc)

Profile Bio Requirements

• Your location must represent your actual location, or a place you frequently visit
• Your About section (describing yourself) must adhere to our content guidelines, and may not contain contact information or navigable media
• Your profile preferences and appearance sections should genuinely reflect your preferences and appearance

Respectful Interaction

The foundation of our community is respectful communication. Every message you send should reflect the kind of interaction you'd want to receive.

Whilst we encourage open communication, we have zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language. Remember that there's a real person receiving your messages, and they deserve to feel safe and respected in their interactions on our platform.

If you are not interested in someone, you may quite simply block or ignore them. If they have been abusive to you, you should report them to us - but do not engage in hateful discussions, our platform is not the place for that.

Human Only Interaction

Mass-sending identical messages or using automated systems to contact members is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.

Robot or robot assisted dating does sound like an interesting concept, but it also has no place on Asia Love, even if the robot is well behaved and human-like. Whilst we respect society is heading forward into an era of artificial assistants doing everything from washing the dishes to arranging matchmaking, you may not use them on our website. All communication must be human to human.

Personal Information

Your safety is our priority. While building connections often involves sharing personal details, we strongly advise against sharing sensitive information too quickly. Never share financial information, home addresses, or private contact details in your early conversations. Our messaging system is designed to help you get to know someone safely before deciding to connect outside the platform. We recommend you also follow our Safety Guidelines.

Zero Tolerance Policy

To maintain the safety and integrity of our community, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for certain behaviors. The following actions will result in immediate account termination without any recourse, warning, or discretion:

• Abusive Content: Any form of harassment, threats, or harmful behavior
• Contact Information in Profile: Publicly sharing private contact details
• Duplicate Profile: Operating multiple accounts
• Fake/Inappropriate Photos: Using misleading or explicit imagery
• Inappropriate Profile: Including offensive or prohibited content
• Incorrect Gender: Intentional misrepresentation of gender
• Scamming or Bot: Operating automated accounts or engaging in fraudulent behavior
• Soliciting Money: Requesting financial transactions or donations
• Soliciting Prostitution: Offering or requesting paid services
• Underage: Users under 18 years old

Community Safety

Our reporting system relies on community participation to maintain a safe environment. When you encounter behavior that violates our guidelines, we encourage you to report it immediately. Each report is reviewed thoroughly by our moderation team, and we take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation.

While we take every report seriously, making false reports to harass other members is itself a violation of our guidelines and may result in account restrictions. If you're unsure whether something violates our guidelines, we encourage you to review this document carefully before submitting a report.

How to Report

• Use the report button located on the member's profile or within your chat window
• Select the most appropriate violation category from the provided options
• Include specific details about the violation to help our moderation team
• Block the user if you feel uncomfortable continuing communication

Account security is a shared responsibility. While we implement robust security measures on our end, members must also take steps to protect their accounts. Never share your login credentials with anyone, even if they claim to be from Asia Love support. Our staff will never ask for your password.

If you notice any unauthorized access or suspicious activity on your account, report it immediately through our support system. Keep your email address up to date, as this is our primary method of communicating important security information.
